#EdBlogNZ Connected Educator Challenge - Week 3

Well done on making it to week 3! This is the final official week of the challenge, however you are encouraged to firstly, continue blogging, and secondly, to possibly go back and do some of the other challenges at the other levels.

If you still have some posts to make from week 1 or 2, that's okay! You can post them when you're ready. The point of the challenge is to encourage you to blog, not to stress you out!

Also, if one of the challenges doesn't quite suit you, then adapt it a little. Again... it's about blogging... and there's no blogging police to come and tell you that you haven't met the challenge.

Week 3 Challenges

Absolute newbie

  1. Reflect on an event that occurred in your classroom during the week. Post it on your blog. Don’t forget to tag/label it with the appropriate Practising Teacher Criteria (PTC).
  2. Blog about your top three sources of inspiration during the three weeks of Connected Educators New Zealand.
  3. Sign up for an RSS reader (eg. Feedly or Inoreader) and add some blogs you want to follow.

Casual blogger

  1. Blog about your top three sources of inspiration during the three weeks of Connected Educators New Zealand.
  2. Collaborate with another blogger to discuss an education passion of yours. Post must be shared on both blogs and tagged with #edblognz on Twitter.
  3. Write about a classroom/teaching resource or online tool that your learners find really valuable. Explain how you use it, why you use it, and try to include some student voice (remember to think about privacy/anonymity).

Blogging legend

  1. Blog about your top three sources of inspiration during the three weeks of Connected Educators New Zealand.
  2. Create a 1-2 minute video about an education topic that you are passionate about and post it on your blog (vlog).
  3. Connect with someone to write a guest post on your blog. Don’t forget to share it on Twitter with #EdBlogNZ.

Remember - we're here to help, so if you need any support, please get in touch.

Happy blogging everyone!
